JFEC CAMPAIGNS?

In 2021 we campaigned for a cultural review of Jaden's workplace, the London fire brigade (LFB). In order to ensure Jaden was front and centre of the review a committee named the Jaden Francois-Esprit Committee made up, initially, of seven members, was formed and fought to ensure the terms of reference enabled the review to be a fair and transparent process.

JFEC was established to ensure the LFB cultural review was a fair & transparent process. Jaden was named as the catalyst for the LFB cultural review and we ensured the focus remained firmly on his experience as a trainee, apprentice firefighter who ended his life because of his experience within his allocated fire station.

JFEC continued to apply pressure on the LFB to ensure change and transparency to their service.

We organised our 1st open community event & invited public speakers to raise suicide awareness and prevention.

Charities including The OLLIE foundation and the Firefighters charity attended.

We continued to add pressure to LFB and participated in their 1st investigation into Jaden's experience as their empoloyee. We completed a fund raising hike up mount Snowdon to raise revenue for our 2022 community event & welcomed back the Firefighters charity, Marcia Brissett-Bailey and social commentator & campaigner, Patrick Vernon.
